PFA Executive                                  PFA Committee

PFA Acting Chairperson: Maree Whiting.

The Parents and Friends Association (PFA) plays a vital role within our school community. Parents are welcome to join the PFA. We have an elected Executive, who call monthly meetings for all to attend.  Meetings are advised in the school newsletter, but as a rule, the first Monday in the month is set aside for PFA meetings and are held in the staff room at school.

Our main fundraisers are: the Annual School Fair ; the weekly sausage sizzle and other smaller activities.

Money raised by the PFA during the course of the year goes towards the following: Upcoming Administration and Library extension; Reduced Camp costs; Year 8 Leavers Dinner; School Magazine; End of Year Prize Giving prizes; Feast Day and Santa Ice-blocks; Term 1 Fun Night; Library Software and Books; Junior and Senior Readers.

We have a small group of parents who are involved, by being members of the Welfare Committee. These caring school community minded people, come together to help and support others by cooking meals and preparing baking for those who have/or have had an illness in the family, a death of a family member, or a birth of a child etc.

The sausage sizzle is now well and truly entrenched in our school week. Every Friday a fantastic team of helpers headed by Leslie Yeatman join forces to provide a well earned break from making lunches.  Sausages are $1.50 each (with a slice of bread) and small Just Juice drinks are $1.00.  There are several children with allergies and they bring their own "special" sausage for cooking.  These are handed into the library, in the morning, at the time of ordering.  If you could please name these sausages by putting your child's name on an ice-cream stick and putting this in one end of the sausage.  Thank you.

If you would like to become a member of this fantastic group of people, helping to get the extras for our children and school - please contact any of the above named people - we would love to hear from you.
